This coming Wednesday (March 21st) at 8pm, I’ll be playing at a new spot called Fox Hollow, just off Washington Ave. Also playing will be Dave Ransom and Tricia Fox. The structure will be a little different this time, though. We’ll each play about a 45 min. solo set, followed by a set as a trio. And, I know it’ll be a school night, but the three of us would love to see you there for that mid-week glass! :-)

That’s where I met Andy Mckee last night. After an awesome performance, during which he hit all his classics, I hung around the performance hall lobby… waiting to strike. Finally, I asked one of the last accessible crew members if Vida and I could possibly meet Andy real quick. To my astonishment, the crew member replied, ”Sure, follow me.”

Looks like I’ll be playing a set at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market this coming Sunday afternoon. I should be playing somewhere between 12pm – 3pm. And, while I’m not playing, you can buy some of the freshest local produce in the Houston area.

Awesome set last night! I love playing at Anderson Fair. For some reason, the more intimate the setting, the better I sound. It just happens.

Playing at the King Biscuit tonight. Show starts around 8pm. I also just booked us for October 30th (next Saturday night) at the Biscuit. It’s a Halloween party, so feel free to sport your scariest (or silliest) get-up. And yes, there will be door prizes. I know… I know… but try to calm down. See you soon.
